POLYMAKER POLYSHER

The Polymaker Polysher is a safe and easy to use post-processing machine designed for polishing the extrusion-based FDM/FFF 3D printed parts with PolySmooth to achieve a shining, layer-free surface finish.

The Polysher does not require heating and instead relies on nebulizing technology. The Polysher is not only affordable but its running cost is incredibly low too. This machine uses Isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol) or ethanol; simply choose whichever is most available to you.

AIR FILTRATION

As gamechanging as 3D printing is, it is not without its health considerations.

Most filaments – including PLA – release trace compounds into the atmosphere when printing. Some of those compounds are known toxins and can be shown to have deleterious effects on human health. While the amounts are not huge, we recommend safety first. The Zimpure filtration system is a great way to ensure that safety. It is a universal fit two-filter system designed to capture both VOC’s and Ultra Fine Particles. Instructions are included to print custom nozzles that will allow the filter to fit any printer.

The Model 660 3DPrintclean enclosures are enclosures specially designed to control filtration and security. These enclosures make 3D printing safe and secure for all users.

EUREKA ADL-3D77 DRY BOX STORAGE

Most filaments – including PLA – are hygroscopic. That means they absorb water from the ambient atmosphere.

The presence of water in filament can cause a host of issues ranging from incomplete layer adhesion to jamming. There are many ‘make at home’ solutions, but the institution serious about additive manufacturing needs a serious solution.
