The FastJet family of 3D printers are high temperature, pellet fed high-capacity industrial grade thermoplastic FDM printers, spearheading the development of an FDM subcategory of AM increasingly known as Fused Granular Fabrication (FGF).

Why Pellets?

Plastic pellets are raw feedstock and an intermediary step between actual production and final use. Filaments used by FDM printers extruded from plastic pellets. Using plastic pellets instead of filaments can reduce feedstock costs by almost 75% because it cuts out the ‘middle’ step of filament extrusion.

FGF pellet printing can additionally lead to a 6 fold increase in print speed, critical for larger prints and production consideration.
